To anybody reading this, I would happily recommend and endorse Building Solutions Brisbane. They have worked onsite at the BP Refinery for over six years, with no safety issues. Tasks they undertook included structural remediation, concrete repairs, and fireproofing (removal and installation). Building Solutions Brisbane also conducted a fireproofing survey and assessment which allowed us to intervene and prevent further corrosion under fireproofing/insulation.
At certain times they were faced with difficult situations, but to their credit the team was opena nd honest about the situation which meant any issues could be rectified immediately. Additionally they did everything they could to better their process and procedures to ensure the learning’s were captured for future projects.
Working in a Major Hazardous facility, the team was capable of meeting and exceeding the safety requirements to ensure the safety of all their workers, and others around them.

Michael studied in South Africa and is a graduate civil Technologist with a master’s diploma in structural engineering. He has a special interest inconcrete with an emphasis on structural problems and is also a member of the Concrete Institute.
Michael and his team have been able to assist me on site with the groundwork for detailed investigations and have the necessary specialist plant, labour and equipment. He and his company have prepared a budget and eventually when the project eventuates carried put the work in a professional manner.

This work was accomplished in a timely manner over the Christmas break and all was ready for school resumption. Another obstacle with this job was that we had already commissioned a company to give the whole building an internal repaint however again the company worked with us and the painting company to achieve the removal and replacement and repaint in the agreed timeframe. The outcome, due to the professionalism of this company, was we had all asbestos removed, new walls/ceilings replaced and the whole of the building painted for the start of the 2012 school year.
